Verified QR codes by API
Create QR codes straight from your own systems. Each one points to a page Verify has checked, and anyone who scans it sees who it belongs to. One price per code, no subscription.
What you get
Automatic creation
Send a web address and an identifier, get back a finished PNG with your name and Verify logo on it. Ask again for the same page and identifier and you get the same code.
Checked before it is made
Pages must be on a website you have registered and proved you own. A page Verify rates as red cannot be given a code.
Tamper warning
Verify remembers what your page looked like when it was approved. If it changes, you are emailed and scanners are told to be careful until you re-verify.
Switches itself off
If the page behind a code stops returning a normal page, the code is switched off and you are emailed straight away. Scanners see a clear “this code is switched off” screen instead of a dead link. You reactivate it from your account once the page is fixed.
Owner shown on every scan
People scanning see your organisation’s name and a green tick, so they can tell your code from a fake sticker.
No subscription
You pay once for each place. Each live code uses a place, and a code lasts as long as its page stays live. API access is included, not a premium tier.
How it works
- Register your organisation and prove you own your website with a small DNS record.
- Buy places on your account page. Each live code uses one place. Switch a code off or delete it and its place is free again.
- Create an API key on your account page and call the API from your booking, ticketing or asset system.
Who uses it
Lodge of Hospitality 8325 uses the API to create verified QR codes for its events, about 150 so far, each printed with the Lodge’s name and linking to the event page on its own website.
It suits anyone with many places or events to label: car park operators, councils, venues, clubs, schools and charities.
For developers
One request creates a code and returns the PNG.
curl -X POST https://verify.eazi.it/qr-api.php \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"url":"https://example.org/events/spring-fair","identifier":"Spring Fair 2027"}' \
-o spring-fair.pngYou can also ask for JSON with the image as base64, fetch an existing code again, and check how many places you have spare. If you have no spare place the code is still created, but switched off, and we email you (at most once a day). Errors come back as JSON. See the full documentation.

Questions
Do codes expire?
No. A code keeps working while the page it points to stays live. If the page stops loading normally, the code is switched off and you are emailed.
What if I change the page on purpose?
Sign in and press Re-verify page. Until then Verify checks the page afresh each time someone scans.
Can I use any website?
Only websites you have registered with Verify and proved you own, so nobody can create a verified code for a page that is not theirs.
Verify gives guidance only and cannot guarantee that any link, code or number is safe.
