About Verify

A quick, plain-English safety check for QR codes, web links and phone numbers.

What it does

Red, amber, green

Every check produces a traffic light and a reputation score out of 100. The score combines Google Safe Browsing, tell-tale signs in the link itself (such as look-alike names, raw IP addresses or link shorteners), whether the owner has registered with Verify and proved they own the site, and votes from people who have used the link or number.

“Always open this exact link”

For a link you trust, such as your local café's menu, you can tell Verify to open that exact link in future without asking. It applies only to green and amber results (amber still asks you to confirm, because things can change). A red link is never opened automatically, and the setting is stored only on your own device.

Vote and help others

After a check you can mark a link or number as safe or unsafe. Votes are anonymous and build the reputation score for everyone.

Register your website or QR code

If you run a website, or you publish QR codes (menus, posters, packaging, letters), you can ask Verify to register them. Registered owners who prove they control the domain are shown with a stronger green.

Limits of this service

Verify gives guidance, not guarantees. A green result means we found no problems, not that a site is risk-free. If something feels wrong, trust your instincts and contact the organisation through a number or website you already know.

Who built it

Verify is a web app developed by eAzI.it, which designs and builds web apps and AI-powered websites for individuals, small organisations and SMEs. Eazi IT is a trading name of FCxO Ltd. Want something similar for your own organisation? Email sales@eazi.it.
